Schedule Runs


Howe Sound is North America’s southernmost fjord, extending from West Vancouver, north to Squamish, and Mercury Transport Inc., has been servicing this Marine community for over 50 years.

Our scheduled water taxis operate out of Horseshoe Bay from the government dock, and service Gambier, Keats, and Bowyer Island.

Our vessels are well maintained, clean, climate controlled, and skippered by friendly certified crew.

Fall 2024 Schedule

Our Fall 2024 Schedule runs from October 15, 2024 to November 30 2024.

The Winter 2024 Schedule runs from December 1 2024 to December 22 2024 and December 23 2024 to March 31, 2025. With a special Holiday Schedule is in place for Christmas and New Year.

Additional trips are provided for Family Day Weekend.

Our scheduled water taxis operate out of Horseshoe Bay from the government dock. Our vessels are well maintained, clean, climate controlled and skippered by certified crew.

All passengers aged 2 and up will require a seat on our schedule runs, to be booked and paid for online before the trip departs from Horseshoe Bay.

Capacity is limited based on the boat configuration and may sell out, so best to book early.

To receive a refund, trips must be cancelled 24 hours before the departure time of the water taxi from Horseshoe Bay.

Service Notes

Winter 2024 and Holiday Schedule Runs
The schedule runs from December 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 are now available for booking. With additional Schedules for Christmas & New Year and Family Day Weekend.
Rate Increase - April 2, 2024
When we launch our Spring Schedule we will be increasing the price of our Schedule Run Trips to $36.00 (including GST) on all trips starting April 2, 2024.
Halkett Bay Dock Closure 2023
The BC Parks dock in Halkett Bay has sustained significant damage. For public safety, portions of the dock have been removed. We are asked to refrain from using the dock and to please respect the closure signs and measures currently in place. Infrastructure replacement works are anticipated to commence in 2024.
Cancellation Policy Updated
Please be aware that to receive a credit for your scheduled run booking, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the schedule departure time from Horseshoe Bay.
